ReplyDelete@Charlie you're asking if my inspiration for this post (and theme) came from WoG? No, I was aware that there was a retro world in the game, but never red anything of that episode's writing. Also never played the game. (Just watched the design tour by wolfire)
ReplyDeleteBasically I was inspired by xkcd's april's fool :) it is very retro. that made me do the colors. then I thought that I need to add a post that fits it. The text I wrote by imagining Alien Invaders to invade humanity (or at least their game sphere) and I threw some screens of foss games into gifs that have a retro style.
Talking about low-end systems in the past few days had its part as well.
