From blocky level design, the "portals" and (maybe) the bots. Maybe a (heavily) modded Quake2 would fix some of that, but in that case why not use Ogre or something like that? The developers seem to want more flexibility, and I'm doubtful about using a Q1-derived engine to achieve it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Don't get me wrong, I like Nexuiz (relatively), but I just have to wonder a little.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As an aside, is it Blogger in general that refuses to remember to use my OpenId? In DM/TDM they're ok, but they have no strategic actions, and get stuck on jump-pads a lot. But it is pretty. Also, some of the "special" maps in the campaign need to be rethought.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I do wonder a bit why the people behind this haven't tried making a new engine?
